The
local government has recently approved plans for the construction of a new
airport (2011) which will be located right in the heart of the region and
promises to deal with low cost airlines in order to compete with Faro’s airport
in Portugal and Seville’s airport in Spain. Nevertheless, Faro Airport is only 30mins from the area and Seville airport is an hour away.
There are numerous airlines that
operate but these are our 'Best Value Choices'.
